Would you eat this Steak with Garlic Cream Sauce ?
Ingredients:
2 boneless ribeye steaks about 1 inch thick
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves optional
Fresh parsley for garnish optional
Directions:
Preheat your grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Pat the steaks dry with paper towels, then rub both sides with olive oil. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust based on your preferred doneness. Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for 5 minutes.
While the steaks are resting, melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, and Dijon mustard, whisking until smooth. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.
Taste the sauce and season with salt and pepper as needed. If desired, add fresh thyme leaves for extra flavor.
Spoon the garlic cream sauce generously over the steaks and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
