Roasted Romanesco
Ingredients:
1 head of romanesco, cut into florets2 tablespoons olive oil1 teaspoon garlic powder1/2 teaspoon paprikaSalt and pepper to taste1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice optional, for garnishFresh parsley, chopped optional, for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F 200C.In a large bowl, toss the romanesco florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.Spread the florets in a single layer on a baking sheet.Roast for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the romanesco is tender and slightly crispy on the edges.Garnish with fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley before serving, if desired.
