Quick Brussels and Bacon: A Savory and Delicious Combo!
肋 Ingredients:
– 300g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
– 4 slices of bacon, chopped
– 1 tbsp olive oil
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– Salt and pepper to taste
– 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes optional
– 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar optional
Instructions:
1 In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving a bit of bacon fat in the skillet.
2 Add olive oil to the skillet and sauté the Brussels sprouts, cut-side down, for 5-6 minutes until they begin to brown.
3 Add garlic and cook for another minute, stirring occasionally.
4 Toss the cooked bacon back into the pan with the Brussels sprouts. Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if using.
5 Drizzle with balsamic vinegar for added richness and toss everything together.
