Ingredients:

– 500g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

– 1/4 cup flour

– 1/2 tsp salt

– 1/4 tsp black pepper

– 1/2 tsp paprika

– 1/4 cup buttermilk

– Vegetable oil for frying


– 1 tbsp honey optional

– 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar optional

Instructions:

1 In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Dip each Brussels sprout half into the buttermilk, then dredge it in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coat.

2 Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, fry the Brussels sprouts in batches until golden and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.

3 If desired, drizzle with honey and balsamic vinegar for extra flavor.
