Pizza Without the Red Sauce
Ingredients:
1 batch pizza dough homemade or store-bought
1/2 cup olive oil for brushing
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup ricotta cheese optional for creaminess
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup fresh spinach leaves
1/4 cup artichoke hearts, chopped optional
1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
2-3 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 475F 245C.
Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface and transfer it to a greased baking sheet or pizza stone.
Brush the entire surface of the dough with olive oil.
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, followed by a dollop of ricotta cheese for added creaminess.
Add Parmesan cheese, garlic, spinach leaves, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts if using. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden, and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Remove from the oven, slice, and enjoy!
