Oven-Fried Chicken
Ingredients:
8 pieces chicken legs, thighs, or breasts
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp dried thyme
1/4 cup buttermilk or milk
2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions:
1 Preheat your oven to 400F 200C.
2 In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and thyme.
3 Dip each chicken piece into buttermilk, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring its fully coated.
4 Place the coated chicken on a greased baking sheet. Drizzle melted butter over the chicken to give it a crispy golden finish.
5 Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165F 74C.
6 Serve and enjoy!
