Old Fashioned Goulash
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can 15 oz tomato sauce
1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes
1 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Italian seasoning
tsp smoked paprika
tsp salt
tsp black pepper
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
Directions:
In a large pot or deep skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for 2-3 minutes until softened.
Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then add the elbow macaroni. Stir well.
Cover and let cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender.
If using, stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Serve hot and enjoy!
