Lemon Pepper Chicken Legs and Thighs

Ingredients:

4 chicken legs drumsticks and thighs

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 tsp smoked paprika

tsp salt adjust as needed

tsp black pepper


1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Lemon slices for serving

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400F 200C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Prepare the chicken: Pat the chicken dry with paper towels to ensure crispy skin.

Season: In a small bowl, mix olive oil, melted butter, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the chicken: Brush or rub the seasoning mixture all over the chicken legs and thighs.

Bake: Arrange the chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165F 75C.

Garnish and serve: Drizzle with fresh lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon slices.
