Baked Cajun Shrimp
Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
1 tsp smoked paprika
tsp garlic powder
tsp onion powder
tsp salt adjust as needed
tsp cayenne pepper optional for extra spice
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Lemon wedges for serving
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400F 200C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Prepare the shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
Season: In a bowl, mix olive oil, melted butter, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Coat the shrimp: Toss the shrimp in the seasoning mixture until fully coated.
Bake: Arrange the shrimp in a single layer on the baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
Garnish and serve: Drizzle with fresh lemon juice, sprinkle with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
