Grilled Pizza
Ingredients:
1 batch pizza dough homemade or store-bought
Olive oil for brushing
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Toppings of your choice pepperoni, vegetables, sausage, etc.
Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat about 450F/230C.
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface, then brush one side with olive oil.
Place the dough oil-side down directly on the grill grates. Close the lid and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until grill marks form.
Flip the dough and quickly spread pizza sauce, cheese, and your desired toppings on the grilled side.
Close the lid and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden and crispy.
Remove from the grill, top with fresh basil, slice, and serve!
