Golden Crispy Lobster Bites with Velvety Garlic Butter Dipping Sauce

Ingredients:

For the Lobster Bites:

1 lb lobster tail meat, cut into bite-sized pieces

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup all-purpose flour

cup cornstarch

1 teaspoon paprika

teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

teaspoon black pepper

1 egg, beaten

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Vegetable oil for frying

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

cup unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped

teaspoon salt

teaspoon red pepper flakes optional


Directions:

Prepare the Lobster Bites:

In a bowl, soak the lobster pieces in buttermilk for 15 minutes.

In a separate dish, mix flour, cornstarch, paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

In another bowl, beat the egg.

In a final bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.

Remove lobster pieces from buttermilk, dip in flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.

Fry the Lobster Bites:

Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350F 175C.

Fry lobster pieces in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce:

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter.

Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in lemon juice, parsley, salt, and red pepper flakes if using.

Remove from heat and serve warm.

Serve:

Serve crispy lobster bites hot with a side of warm garlic butter sauce for dipping.
