Garlic Butter Chicken Balls with Creamy Parmesan Pasta
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Balls:
1 lb ground chicken
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tbsp butter for cooking
For the Creamy Parmesan Pasta:
12 oz pasta fettuccine or spaghetti
2 tbsp butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
1/2 cup pasta water reserved
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Make the chicken balls: In a bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, and onion powder. Mix well and form into small balls.
Cook the chicken balls: Melt 2 tbsp butter in a pan over medium heat. Cook chicken balls until golden brown and cooked through about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally. Set aside.
Boil the pasta: Cook pasta according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
Prepare the sauce: In the same pan, melt 2 tbsp butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, Parmesan, salt, and pepper, stirring until smooth.
Combine everything: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for a silky texture.
Assemble: Serve pasta with garlic butter chicken balls on top, garnish with parsley, and enjoy!
