Creamy Peppercorn Steak with Mashed Potatoes Recipe 數

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

2 beef steaks sirloin or ribeye 數

1 tbsp olive oil 㮝

1 tsp salt 蓼

1/2 tsp black pepper

For the Sauce:

1 tbsp unsalted butter 杻

1/2 cup heavy cream 拏

1/4 cup beef broth

1 tsp crushed peppercorns


1 tsp Dijon mustard

For the Mashed Potatoes:

2 large potatoes, peeled and boiled 凜

1/4 cup milk 拏

2 tbsp unsalted butter 杻

Salt to taste 蓼

Instructions:

1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steaks with salt and pepper, then sear for 4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Remove and let rest. 數

2. In the same skillet, melt butter and stir in crushed peppercorns. Add beef broth, heavy cream, and Dijon mustard, whisking until the sauce thickens. 拏

3. Mash the boiled potatoes with milk, butter, and salt until creamy. 凜籠

4. Plate the mashed potatoes, top with steak, and pour over the creamy peppercorn sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
