Christmas Fudge
Ingredients:
– 3 cups white chocolate chips
– 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
– Red and green food coloring
– 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles optional, for decoration
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving extra paper hanging over the edges to make removal easy.
2. Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir over low heat until the chocolate melts completely, and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract.
3. Color the Fudge: Divide the melted mixture into three equal portions. Tint one portion with red food coloring, another with green food coloring, and leave the third portion plain.
4. Layer the Fudge: Pour the red fudge layer into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly. Add the plain fudge layer on top of the red, then layer the green fudge over the plain. Use a knife to gently swirl the layers for a marbled effect.
5. Add Sprinkles: Sprinkle holiday-themed sprinkles on top while the fudge is still warm, if desired.
6. Chill: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper and cut it into small squares.
Prep Time: 10 minutes plus chilling Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes Servings: 24 pieces
Tips:
