Original Nestle Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:


Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop rounded tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 9-11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown, but the centers are still soft.

Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

A classic treat, soft in the middle and crispy on the edges with delicious chocolate chips!
