1. Preheat your oven to 350F 175C.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.


3. Once well combined, gradually add in any additional ingredients you love, such as flour or chocolate chips, to enhance the flavor.

4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6. Remove from the oven and let cool before cutting into bars.
