Whipped Strawberry Lemonade
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice about 4-5 lemons
2 cups cold water
1 cup crushed ice
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk optional, for extra creaminess
Whipped cream, for topping
1 lemon wedge and fresh strawberry, for garnish
Directions:
Prepare the Strawberry Base:
In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
Strain the mixture to remove seeds if desired.
Mix the Lemonade:
In a large pitcher, add the blended strawberry mixture, cold water, and crushed ice. Stir well.
Prepare the Creamy Layer:
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream with sweetened condensed milk until soft peaks form.
Assemble the Drink:
Pour the strawberry lemonade into serving glasses, leaving some space at the top.
Gently spoon or pipe the whipped cream mixture over the lemonade.
Garnish & Serve:
Top with extra whipped cream, a lemon wedge, and a fresh strawberry.
Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy!
