Tacos in Pasta Shells
Ingredients:
12 large pasta shells conchiglioni
1 lb ground beef or chicken
1 packet taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup salsa
1/2 cup chopped lettuce
1/4 cup chopped tomatoes
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a skillet, cook the ground beef or chicken until browned. Add taco seasoning and water, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until thickened.
Preheat the oven to 375F 190C.
Stuff each pasta shell with the seasoned meat mixture and arrange in a baking dish.
Top with shredded cheese and bake for 10 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven and top each taco with sour cream, salsa, lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro.
Serve with lime wedges and enjoy!
