Shrimp and Cheese Toast

Ingredients:

4 slices of baguette or crusty bread

8 medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 garlic clove, minced

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Shrimp:


Season the shrimp with paprika, salt, and pepper.

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sauté the shrimp until pink and cooked through 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from heat.

2. Toast the Bread:

Lightly toast the bread slices in a toaster or under a broiler.

3. Assemble the Toasts:

Spread a small amount of garlic butter on each slice of bread. Place 2 shrimp on each toast and top with shredded mozzarella.

4. Melt the Cheese:

Place the toasts under a broiler or in an oven preheated to 200C 400F for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Garnish and Serve:

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
