Savory Creamy Chicken Alfredo Tater Tot Casserole
Ingredients:
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
1 15 oz jar Alfredo sauce
1 cup sour cream
1 cup frozen peas
1 teaspoon garlic powder
teaspoon salt
teaspoon black pepper
1 32 oz bag frozen tater tots
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 400F 200C.
Mix the Sauce:
In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, sour cream, frozen peas, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until everything is well blended.
Prepare the Baking Dish:
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Layer the Mixture:
Pour the chicken and sauce mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Top with Tater Tots:
Arrange the frozen tater tots on top of the chicken mixture in a single layer.
Bake:
Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Add Cheese:
Remove the casserole from the oven, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top, and return it to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
