Savory Chicken Wonton Soup Delight
Ingredients:
– 1 pound ground chicken
– 2 cups chicken broth
– 1 tablespoon soy sauce
– 1 package wonton wrappers
– 2 green onions, chopped
– 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup bok choy, chopped
– 1 tablespoon sesame oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced ginger, minced garlic, and chopped green onions. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
2. Lay a wonton wrapper on a flat surface. Place about a teaspoon of the chicken mixture in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold the wrapper in half, and press to seal. Make sure there are no air pockets.
3. Repeat the process with the remaining wrappers and filling.
4. In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the remaining chopped green onions and sauté until fragrant.
5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
6. Gently add the wontons to the simmering broth and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.
7. Add the chopped bok choy and soy sauce to the broth. Simmer for an additional 2 minutes until the bok choy is tender.
8. Serve hot, garnished with extra green onions if desired. Enjoy your delightful soup!
