Quick Skillet Bread in 10 Minutes
This quick and easy skillet bread is perfect for when you need fresh bread in a hurry. Its soft, fluffy, and ready in just 10 minutes!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt 蓼
1/2 cup plain yogurt or buttermilk
1/4 cup water adjust as needed for consistency
1 tablespoon olive oil for the skillet
Directions:
Prepare the Dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the yogurt or buttermilk and mix until a soft dough forms. Add a little water as needed to achieve a smooth consistency.
Heat the Skillet: Heat a non-stick or cast-iron skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil to prevent sticking.
Cook the Bread: Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions. Flatten each piece slightly and place it in the hot skillet. Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
