Quick and Easy Beef Stir-Fry
Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1/2 onion, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp sesame oil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tbsp sesame seeds optional, for garnish
Cooked rice or noodles for serving
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced beef and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the beef and set it aside.
In the same skillet, add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return the beef to the skillet and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, and sesame oil. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly and the beef is fully coated.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the stir-fry over rice or noodles, and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
