Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup pumpkin puree


1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.

In a separate large bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the egg, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree, mixing well.

Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.

Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
