Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Ingredients:

500g thinly sliced beef ribeye or sirloin

1 large onion, thinly sliced

1 bell pepper, sliced any color

4 hoagie rolls or sandwich buns

1 cup provolone or mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions:


1. Cook the Vegetables:

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and bell pepper, cooking until soft and slightly caramelized. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

2. Cook the Beef:

In the same skillet, heat the remaining olive oil. Add the thinly sliced beef, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.

3. Combine the Ingredients:

Return the cooked vegetables to the skillet with the beef and mix well.

4. Prepare the Sandwiches:

Preheat the oven to 180C 350F. Split the hoagie rolls open and fill each with the beef and vegetable mixture. Top with shredded cheese.

Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

5. Serve:

Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.
