Beef and Cheese Burritos
Ingredients:
500g ground beef
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1 bell pepper, diced any color
1 cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
4 large flour tortillas
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
For Serving:
French fries optional
Salsa or sour cream
Instructions:
1. Cook the Filling:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté until translucent.
Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
Stir in the diced bell pepper, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3-5 minutes.
2. Assemble the Burritos:
Warm the tortillas slightly in a dry skillet or microwave.
Place a generous amount of beef mixture in the center of each tortilla. Top with shredded cheese.
Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll tightly into a burrito.
3. Toast the Burritos Optional:
Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down and toast for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly crispy.
4. Serve:
Slice the burritos in half and serve with French fries, salsa, or sour cream on the side.
