Meat Lovers Pizza Casserole
Ingredients:
12 oz pasta penne or rotini
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Italian sausage
1/2 cup pepperoni slices
1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
1/2 cup diced ham
2 cups pizza sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F 190C.
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and Italian sausage until browned. Drain excess fat.
Stir in pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder. Simmer for 3 minutes.
In a greased 9×13 baking dish, layer half of the cooked pasta, half of the meat mixture, and half of the pepperoni, bacon, and ham. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
Repeat the layers and top with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.
Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot!
