cup fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
2 oz white rum
Crushed ice
Champagne or sparkling wine, for topping
Lime slices, for garnish
Instructions:
Muddle Mint: In a cocktail shaker, combine mint leaves, lime juice, and simple syrup. Gently muddle to release the mints aroma.
Add Rum & Ice: Pour in the white rum and add ice to the shaker. Cover and shake until well chilled.
Pour & Top: Fill two highball glasses with crushed ice. Strain the mixture evenly into the glasses. Top each with champagne or sparkling wine. Stir gently to combine.
