Lemon Cream Pastry Rolls

Flaky, buttery puff pastry filled with zesty lemon cream and topped with whipped cream and powdered sugar. A refreshing and indulgent dessert!

Ingredients:

For the pastry:

1 sheet of puff pastry store-bought or homemade, thawed

1 egg for egg wash

For the lemon cream filling:

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1/4 cup lemon curd store-bought or homemade

For garnish:

Whipped cream

Lemon slices

Powdered sugar

Steps:


1 Prepare the puff pastry:

Preheat your oven to 200C 400F. Roll out the puff pastry and cut it into strips. Roll each strip into a cylinder and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash.

2 Bake the pastry:

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden and flaky. Let cool completely.

3 Make the lemon cream filling:

In a bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in the lemon curd until smooth and creamy.

4 Fill the pastry rolls:

Using a piping bag, fill each pastry roll with the lemon cream.

5 Garnish:

Top with whipped cream, a dusting of powdered sugar, and a slice of fresh lemon for a stunning presentation.

6 Serve:
