Ingredients:
1 stick butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C.
In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar with an electric mixer until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
Add the eggs and vanilla, then mix by hand until well combined.
Stir in the cocoa powder, salt, and flour by hand until the mixture is smooth and gooey. Avoid using a mixer here, as hand-mixing keeps the texture rich and gooey rather than cakey.
Grease an 8-inch pie pan with butter or cooking spray, then pour the mixture into the pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set.
