Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp and Broccoli

Honey Garlic Butter Shrimp and Broccoli 復

Ingredients:

– 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

– 4 cups broccoli florets

– 1 tablespoon olive oil

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

– 4 garlic cloves, minced

– 1/4 cup honey

– 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Cooked white rice for serving

Directions:

1. Cook the Broccoli: Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and cook for 4-5 minutes until they are tender but still slightly crisp. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

2. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the broccoli.

3. Make the Sauce: Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet along with the minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes if using. Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for 1-2 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.

4. Combine Everything: Return the cooked shrimp and broccoli to the skillet. Toss everything in the sauce, making sure the shrimp and broccoli are fully coated. Cook for another 2 minutes to heat everything through.

5. Serve: Serve the honey garlic butter shrimp and broccoli over cooked white rice, and enjoy this delicious meal!
