Grandmas Best Ever Sour Cream Lasagna 龍

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can 15 oz tomato sauce

1 can 14.5 oz diced tomatoes

1 tablespoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

12 lasagna noodles

1 1/2 cups sour cream

2 cups ricotta cheese

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese


1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 large egg

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

In a skillet, cook ground beef or turkey with onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is browned. Drain excess fat. Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

In a bowl, combine ricotta cheese, sour cream, egg, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Stir well.

Spread a layer of meat sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Layer with lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the ricotta-sour cream mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with mozzarella cheese on top and the remaining Parmesan.

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden.

Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
