Golden Parmesan-Crusted Chicken Penne with Creamy Sauce

Ingredients:

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup breadcrumbs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz penne pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish


Directions:

Preheat your oven to 375F 190C.

In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese. Coat each chicken breast in the breadcrumb mixture and place them on a baking sheet.

Bake the chicken in the oven for 20-25 minutes, until crispy and golden brown.

While the chicken bakes, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing it to a simmer. Let the sauce cook for 4-5 minutes until it thickens.

Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the creamy sauce. Slice the crispy chicken and place it on top of the pasta.

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve for a delicious, comforting meal.
