Fudgy Red Velvet Brownies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp red food coloring
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup white chocolate chips optional
Directions:
Prepare the Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C.
Grease an 8×8-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
Mix the Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring. Mix until well combined.
Incorporate the Dry Ingredients:
Sift in the cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and salt.
Gently stir until the ingredients are just combined. Avoid overmixing to keep the brownies fudgy.
Add White Chocolate Chips Optional:
Fold in the white chocolate chips for added sweetness, if desired.
Bake the Brownies:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
Serve as is, or dust with powdered sugar for a festive touch!
