Espresso Old Fashioned
Ingredients:
2 oz Bourbon or Rye Whiskey 弄
1 oz Freshly Brewed Espresso chilled
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Orange Peel for garnish
Maraschino Cherry optional garnish
Preparation
Brew a fresh shot of espresso and chill it .
Chill an Old Fashioned glass with ice 流.
In a mixing glass, combine whiskey 弄, chilled espresso , simple syrup , and bitters .
Add ice 流 and stir for 20-30 seconds until well chilled .
Strain into the chilled glass over a large ice cube 流.
Garnish with a twist of orange peel and a maraschino cherry optional.
