Creamy Ranch Beef Bowtie Skillet with Sweet Corn Magic
Ingredients:
12 oz bowtie pasta farfalle
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 packet 1 oz ranch seasoning mix
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
teaspoon black pepper
1 cup sweet corn fresh, canned, or frozen
1 cups heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon butter
cup chicken or beef broth
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown the beef: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula. Drain any excess grease.
Sauté the aromatics: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the beef, cooking until softened about 2-3 minutes. Stir in the ranch seasoning, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
Incorporate the sweet corn: Stir in the sweet corn and cook for another 2 minutes to enhance its natural sweetness.
Make it creamy: Pour in the heavy cream and broth, stirring to combine. Let the mixture simmer for 3-4 minutes.
Melt the cheese: Reduce the heat and add shredded cheddar, Parmesan, and butter, stirring until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Combine with pasta: Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together until fully coated in the creamy ranch sauce.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot. Enjoy this indulgent, cheesy skillet meal!
