Cottage Cheese Chips
Ingredients:
1 cup cottage cheese small curds, drained
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried herbs optional, like thyme or parsley
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil spray for baking
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray it with olive oil.
Season the Cottage Cheese:
Drain the cottage cheese well to remove excess moisture. In a bowl, combine the cottage cheese with garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs if desired, salt, and pepper.
Form the Chips:
Using a tablespoon, scoop small portions of the seasoned cottage cheese onto the baking sheet. Flatten each portion slightly with the back of a spoon to create thin rounds.
Bake:
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chips are golden brown and crispy around the edges. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
Cool and Serve:
Allow the chips to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes to crisp up further. Enjoy these crunchy cottage cheese chips as a snack or with your favorite dip!
