Classic Pumpkin Bread
Ingredients:
1 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
teaspoon ground cloves
1 cups granulated sugar
cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin puree
cup water
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350F 175C. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Set aside.
Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and oil. Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then, add the pumpkin puree, water, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the bread dense.
Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve: Let the pumpkin bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and enjoy!
