Classic Christmas Fudge
Ingredients:
1 can 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons Christmas sprinkles red, green, and white
Instructions:
Prep Your Pan: Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving extra hanging over the edges to make removing the fudge easier. Lightly spray the parchment with non-stick spray to prevent sticking.
Melt the Chocolate: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips. Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. If chocolate isnt fully melted, continue microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and glossy.
Add Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract until the mixture is well combined and fragrant.
Pour and Smooth: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan, using a spatula to spread it evenly.
Add Festive Toppings: While the fudge is still soft, sprinkle the Christmas sprinkles evenly over the top. Press them down gently so they stick to the surface of the fudge.
Chill to Set: Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until the fudge is firm and set.
Slice and Serve: Once the fudge is fully set, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper edges. Slice into small squares and serve to enjoy this festive treat!
Storing Leftovers: Store any leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Its so delicious, it rarely lasts that long!
Enjoy this easy and delightful holiday classic with loved ones, and add a little extra sweetness to your Christmas celebrations!
