Christmas Fudge
Ingredients:
3 cups white chocolate chips
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Red and green food coloring
1/4 cup holiday sprinkles optional, for decoration
Directions:
Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides to easily lift the fudge out once its set.
Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
Divide and Color: Divide the fudge mixture evenly into three bowls. Add a few drops of red food coloring to one bowl and green food coloring to another, leaving the third bowl plain.
Layer the Fudge: Pour the red-colored fudge into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Next, carefully layer the plain fudge on top of the red layer, spreading gently. Finish with the green fudge layer on top. For a festive swirl effect, use a knife to gently swirl the layers together, creating a marbled look.
Add Sprinkles: Sprinkle holiday-themed sprinkles over the top of the fudge while its still soft, pressing them down lightly so they stick.
Chill: Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is fully set.
Slice and Serve: Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut into small squares and enjoy!
Storage: Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Tips:
For a peppermint twist, add a few drops of peppermint extract to the fudge mixture along with the vanilla.
This fudge makes a beautiful holiday gift when wrapped in festive tins or bags!
