Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder1 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1/2 cup granulated sugar1/2 cup packed brown sugar1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted2 large eggs1 teaspoon vanilla extract1/2 cup powdered sugar for coating
Instructions:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.In a large bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter. Beat in eggs and vanilla until smooth.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a thick dough forms.Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.Preheat oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Roll chilled dough into 1-inch balls, then coat each ball generously in powdered sugar.Place the coated balls on the baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart.Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cookies crackle on top. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
