Chocolate Cookies with White Chocolate Chips 懶

Soft, chewy, and loaded with rich chocolate flavor and chunks of white chocolate, these cookies are pure indulgence!

Yield: 18-20 cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup 130g all-purpose flour

cup 50g unsweetened cocoa powder

teaspoon baking soda 蓼

teaspoon salt 蓼

cup 1 stick/113g unsalted butter, softened 杻

cup 100g light or dark brown sugar

cup 100g granulated sugar


1 large egg 讀

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cups 200g white chocolate chips or chunks 懶

Instructions:

1 Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

2 Cream Butter & Sugars: Using a mixer with a paddle attachment, beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar on medium speed for 3 minutes until fluffy. Scrape down the sides as needed.

3 Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.

4 Combine & Fold: Add the dry ingredients and mix on medium-low speed until just combined. Fold in the white chocolate chips. The dough will be thick and sticky.

5 Optional Chill: For thicker cookies, chill the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour or overnight. This helps reduce spread while baking.

6 Preheat Oven: Set oven to 350F 180C. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

7 Shape & Bake: Scoop 2-tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheet, spaced 3 inches apart. Bake for 9-10 minutes, until edges are just set.

8 Cool: Let cookies cool on the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Storage: Keep cookies in an airtight container for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Enjoy!
