Chocolate Chip Birthday Cookies

These Birthday Cookies are an exciting and festive twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie! Made with colorful sprinkles, these cookies are perfect for celebrating birthdays, holidays, or any special occasion.

Ingredients:

cup 113g unsalted butter, melted 杻

cup 66g granulated sugar

cup 104g packed light brown sugar

1 large egg 讀

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

teaspoon baking soda 療

teaspoon salt 蓼

1 cups 186g all-purpose flour

1 cups 255g chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk

cup rainbow sprinkles jimmies preferred

Instructions:

1 Prepare the dough:

In the bowl of a stand mixer or using a hand mixer in a large bowl, beat the melted butter with the granulated and brown sugars on low speed until smooth. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, then increase the speed to medium until fully combined.


2 Add dry ingredients:

Mix in the baking soda and salt. Gradually add the flour and mix until the dough is smooth. Scrape the sides of the bowl to ensure even mixing.

3 Incorporate chocolate chips and sprinkles:

Slowly stir in the chocolate chips and rainbow sprinkles.

4 Chill the dough:

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Scoop 2 tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the sheet spacing doesnt matter at this point. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 2 hours.

5 Preheat and bake:

When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350F 175C. Line a second cookie sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

6 Form the cookies:

Take the chilled cookie dough balls from the refrigerator and space them 2 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.

7 Bake:

Bake the cookies for 1115 minutes, or until the edges are light golden and the tops are no longer glossy.

8 Cool and enjoy:

Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for at least 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
