Cereal Bars
Ingredients:
3 cups cereal of choice 北
2/3 cup peanut butter or nut butter of choice 樂
1/2 cup agave, honey, or brown rice syrup
Optional: 1/2 tsp salt 蓼
Optional: 3 tbsp protein powder
Instructions:
1 Line an 8-inch pan with wax or parchment paper. Double the recipe for a 9×13-inch pan if needed.
2 If needed, gently warm the nut butter until its easy to stir.
3 Stir all ingredients in a large bowl until well combined.
4 Pour the cereal mixture into the prepared pan. Place a second sheet of parchment paper on top and press the cereal down firmly into the pan.
5 Press very firmly to ensure the bars hold together when sliced.
6 Freeze for 30 minutes or until firm enough to slice into bars.
7 Store leftovers in the refrigerator, freezer, or in a cool, dry place.
