Brownie Biscotti
Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder1 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt3/4 cup granulated sugar2 large eggs1 tsp vanilla extract1/2 cup mini chocolate chips1/4 cup chopped nuts optional
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.In another bowl, beat sugar and eggs until pale and thick. Stir in vanilla extract.Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts, if using.Shape dough into a log on the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.Bake for 25-30 minutes, then cool for 5 minutes. Slice diagonally into biscotti pieces.Arrange slices on the baking sheet and bake for another 10-12 minutes until crisp.
