Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 15 minutes
Servings: Approximately 20
Ingredients:
For the Simple Syrup and Berry Purees:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
6 oz fresh raspberries
6 oz fresh blackberries
6 oz fresh strawberries
For the Punch:
1 bottle champagne or sparkling wine
2 liters lemon-lime soda
Fresh berries for garnish optional
Instructions:
Prepare the Simple Syrup: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 cup water. Stir occasionally until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
Create Berry Purees: In separate containers, combine each type of berry raspberries, blackberries, strawberries with cup of the cooled simple syrup. Using an immersion blender or regular blender, puree each mixture until smooth.
Strain the Purees: Pass each berry puree through a fine mesh strainer to remove seeds, resulting in smooth, vibrant berry syrups.
Assemble the Punch: For each serving, add about 1 tablespoon of berry puree to a champagne flute or wine glass. Fill the glass halfway with champagne or sparkling wine and gently stir to combine. Top off the glass with lemon-lime soda for added sweetness and fizz.
Garnish and Serve: Optionally, garnish each glass with fresh berries. Serve immediately and enjoy the festive flavors!
