Beary Delicious Peanut Butter Paw Prints

Ingredients:

cup unsalted butter, softened

cup creamy peanut butter

cup granulated sugar

cup packed brown sugar

1 large egg

2 tablespoons milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

teaspoon salt

Additional granulated sugar for rolling

48 chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven:

Preheat your oven to 375F 190C and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Cream the Mixture:

In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, peanut butter, cup granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.


Add Wet Ingredients:

Beat in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients:

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

Shape the Cookies:

Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and then coat them in additional granulated sugar. Place the balls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.

Create Paw Prints:

Using the back of a spoon, make four indentations in each cookie to form a paw print shape.

Bake:

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.

Add Chocolate Chips:

Remove from the oven and immediately press one chocolate chip in the center of each cookie, along with three more for the “”toes”” of the paw print.

Cool:

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Cooking Time: 12 minutes

Total Time: 32 minutes
