Banana Fudge
Ingredients:
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 can 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup white chocolate chips optional
1 cup chopped nuts optional
Directions:
Combine Ingredients:
In a large saucepan, add the mashed bananas, granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and sweetened condensed milk.
Cook the Mixture:
Place the saucepan over medium heat and stir constantly as the mixture comes to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy.
Add Vanilla and Optional Ingredients:
Remove the saucepan from the heat.
Stir in the vanilla extract.
If desired, fold in the white chocolate chips and chopped nuts for added texture and flavor.
Pour and Set:
Pour the fudge mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
Let the fudge cool completely at room temperature, or place it in the refrigerator to firm up more quickly.
Cut and Serve:
Once set, cut the fudge into squares and serve. Enjoy your creamy and decadent banana fudge!
