Ingredients:

2 cups dried navy beans or other white beans, soaked overnight and drained1 medium onion, chopped2 cloves garlic, minced1/4 cup molasses1/4 cup brown sugar1/4 cup ketchup2 tablespoons Dijon mustard1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon black pepper4 cups water1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika optional

Instructions:


Preheat oven to 325F 165C.In a large pot, add the soaked and drained beans, chopped onion, minced garlic, molasses, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using.Add the water and stir to combine.Cover the pot and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5-3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the beans are tender and the sauce has thickened.Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving.
