Aunt Teens Creamy Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients:
1 7 oz jar marshmallow creme1 1/2 cups granulated sugar2/3 cup evaporated milk1/4 cup unsalted butter1/4 teaspoon salt2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips1 cup chopped nuts optional1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Line an 8×8-inch square pan with aluminum foil and lightly grease it.In a heavy saucepan, combine marshmallow creme, sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt.Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a full boil. Boil for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.Mix in nuts if using and vanilla extract.Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.Let cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate until firm.Cut into squares and serve.
